Native Plant Propagation at Heather Farm Park

On September 10, 2007, 17 volunteers from Chevron Corporation helped Foundation volunteers start over 9000 containers of native grass and wildflower seed.

This event was part of the Week of  Caring program organized by the Volunteer Center of the East Bay.  These work days let us work with very productive volunteers from Chevron and other local companies.

As we worked, everyone got faster and more skilled.
Many hands  made the job go faster.
