Native Plant Propagation at Sun Terrace Elementary School


On September 7, 2007, we helped three 3rd grade classes at Sun Terrace Elementary School in Concord plant native grass and poppy seeds.  They will take care of the seedlings until mid-December when we will plant the seedlings in the Nature Area Walnut Creek's Heather Farm Park.

We've been working with classes at Sun Terrace School for 4 years now.  Their interest and enthusiasm makes this a pleasure for us every year.
